Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna is an easy no-bake layered dessert with a chocolate graham cracker crust, fluffy peanut butter cheesecake mousse, and rich chocolate pudding layer, topped with whipped cream. Garnished with Reese’s peanut butter cups and Reese’s Pieces and peanut butter drizzle, this lasagna is a chocolate peanut butter dream come true.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna

Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna recipe is so easy to put together and you can make it ahead of time and have a show-stopper dessert for potluck or parties. For that reason, lasagna dessert recipes are my favorite.

As you already know, I have so many dessert lasagnas here on my blog. From classic Chocolate Lasagna, decadent Hot Chocolate Lasagna, Bailey’s Lasagna, holiday specials –Christmas Lasagna, 4th of July Berry Lasagna, summer fruit Peach Lasagna, White Chocolate Blueberry Lasagna, and the most popular No-Bake Strawberry Jell-o Lasagna.

Since chocolate and peanut butter is my favorite flavor combo, I was shocked when I realized I didn’t share my favorite Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna recipe here on my blog. It’s one of the all-time classic lasagna flavors and I missed it. It had to be correct immediately. And to tell the truth I find I good excuse to make my favorite dessert again.

Piece of four layers no bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna

I shared Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake, many homemade versions of my favorite Reese’s cups, but not my go-to lasagna recipe- Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna. If you haven’t tried it so far, you simply must make it as soon as possible. It’s so easy to put together in no time. You can feed a crowd. It’s perfect for parties and potlucks. But if you are a true chocolate-peanut butter addict as I am you can make it just for yourself even if you don’t have a special occasion.

However, if you don’t have a large company, you can easily half the recipe and make it in an 8×8 or 9×9 inch dish just for portion control.

Enjoy!

is there anything I can substitute for the cream cheese? Ugh I wanted this so bad, but I don’t do cream cheese in sweets.

Wow! Dessert is life. I love your chocolate peanut butter lasagna recipe but is it look good and tasty if I add a chocolate bar as a topping? One of my favorite flavors is peanut butter and coconut almond protein bar. I think you should try it too, for your next blog.

Easy to make. My only problem… went to 4 stores for the chocolate graham cracker crumbs.. Had to substitute. Used a chocolate cookie pie crust and crammed it together in a 9 x13 pan.

I just made this tonight and had the same problem! I substituted chocolate teddy grahams and just smashed them up

You can also make your own, 2.5 cps graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cp melted butter, 1/2 cp unsweetened cocoa.

Chocolate Graham crackers are hard to find so I used Chocolate Teddy Grahams. Just use the whole box…perfect! My family loves this recipe!

Does anyone know if this desert will hold up in the fridge if made the day prior to an event? Looks wonderful!

Yes. If it will be longer than a day, store it without the whipped cream on top, and do that part when you’re ready to eat it. I’ve found that after a day, the pudding melds into the cream turning it brownish.

I’ve made a similar dessert for years. We call it chocolate lush. I don’t like Graham cracker crust, so I just mix a melted 1/2 stick of butter and mix in a cup of flour until it is a little thick and somewhat gooey (add more butter if you need to) and use my fingers to spread it in my cake pan, and bake it at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. It’s an amazing crust!

Can’t wait to try this…can you substitute Oreo crust for graham cracker crust? Thanks.

Reply
Vera Z. November 18, 2021 - 11:29 pm

Hi Bonnie, you can substitute, but you will need more butter for graham crackers, Oreo has the filling so it need less butter.

Can this be stored in the freezer, only taking a piece every once in a while?

Can’t imagine it matters if you use a metal 9×13 pan?

Bethany October 27, 2021 - 8:45 pm

If making this a couple days ahead of time do you store it in the freezer or put in fridge?

Uh is this stored in fridge or freezer? How long can it sit out at a party before melting to a mess, or does it need to be consumed right after setting out???? This seems kinda like a cheesecake & would need cold stored?

I couldn’t find chocolate graham crackers. So I used chocolate peanut butter Oreos. If you do that use the whole package. This is an amazing dessert.

Try Oreo cookies in place of the chocolate graham crackers.

When you say a “cup” of whipped cream, is that an entire 8 oz. container or only a cup scooped out? Thx!

Reply
Vera Z. June 25, 2022 - 3:26 pm

Hi Lisa, it is a measuring cup of 240 ml.

Danielle June 5, 2022 - 11:17 pm

I used an oreo cookie pue crust and put it all in that instead of a 9x 13 pan! It made a really thick pie!

It seems a bit extreme that you have to pace in a freezer while making the filling. Brr! LOL! JK…
This looks amazing and I will be trying it out on my whole family. Thank you!
