- Garnish with fresh blueberries and diced strawberries before serving.

Notes
You can use thawed whipped topping like Cool Whip (you’ll need about 8 ¾ cups) or make homemade whipped cream. Beat 4 ¼ cups chilled heavy cream with 2 teaspoon vanilla until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar to taste and continue mixing on high speed until STIFF PEAKS form.

Gorgeous!
This is a parfait not a lasagna. There are no noodles in this. One of my biggest pet peeves is calling something lasagna that is clearly not a lasagna.
It means layers like lasagna, so get over yourself and just enjoy the recipe like the rest of us do. Don’t like it then look somewhere else !!!
I totally agree! We know there’s no pasta in it it’s not supposed to be up as pasta God forbid it didn’t get called a layered dessert. They were just having fun with it. Get a life
The literal translation for Lasagna is layered.
Was wondering if you can substitute something like pudding for the yogurt.
Can this be made ahead of time and frozen?
I wouldn’t freeze this, because strawberries will make a mess when they thaw
Is this 4.5 oz of prepared jello?
Hi Trisha, no it is 4.5 oz. Jello powder. It’s 1 1/2 of 3oz.box
Would this work without the cookie crust? I can’t have the gluten.
Congratulations! You win “stupid” for today. No need to eat a turd as you are already full of it.
It calls for 4.5oz gelatin…meaning the boxes of powder?? Because that is a lot of boxes, am I the only one confused by this??
It’s not sugar-free gelatine, it’s 4.5 oz. Jello-sweetened gelatine.
(3 oz. Jell-o is for 4 x 1/2 cups serving)
I’m confused, too. Jell-o comes in 3oz and 6oz boxes. Do I need to use a partial box?
Yes use 1 and 1/2 box. 3 oz. won’t be enough to set the filling and with 6 oz. it might be to rubbery and not creamy enough
I would like to reply to the question about the jello that Kira Teeter had. The size of each box of jello is actually 3 ounce. It is 4- half cup servings. You will need one box of each flavor.
What are the nutritional facts for this?
About how many tubs of Cool Whip will I need for this recipe?
2 big tubs (16tbsp * 9 cups = 144 tbsp —> roughly 100tbsp per big tub cool whip, so 2 big tubs!)
seriously, its people like you that give people a bad name……………. just enjoy the dessert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot to buy a bar of white chocolate. Can I substitute white chocolate chips??? Those I have!!
HI Kelly, you can use it of course…
It’s just for decoration.
Made this for a special event at work and it was a hit! Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe.
[…] how divine does this very berry dessert lasagna look? It’s layers of creamy mousse with strawberries, blueberries and cheesecake with an Oreo […]
Looks beautiful. Will have to try this!!!
Very delicious!! Superb recipe with creamy mousse layers and decorated with strawberries on the top.
Thanks for sharing this article.
Looks delightful. We are definitely making this for our July 4th party. How far in advance do you think it can be made?
[…] Holidays […]
Looks great, can regular yogurt be used or does it have to be Greek?
Hi Colleen, Greek yogurt has thicker consistency, I haven’t tried with regular yogurt.
I made this for a family gathering and it was a big hit! It was my first time trying this type of recipe and I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it came out. Definitely going to be making this again next year!
Thanks Devon!
TO EVERYONE THATS ALREADY MADE THIS:
What exactly did you use? For jello, the ounces in each box and how many boxes of jello for each flavor? And did anyone use a springform pan, how did it turn out? Thank you all for your help 😁
Very impressive and mouth-watering recipe! We learned a lot from your article.
Thank you for sharing this.
Ohh..What a wonderful dessert, liked your dessert idea very much and recipe also. thanks for sharing it
Do you have to let the jelly cool before adding the yoghurt and berries?
No, it will cool enough while you stir it to dissolve.
It looks so great. Yummm..
Loved it .
Thanks for sharing
Can you substitute Raspberries for Strawberries? Mom is allergic to Strawberries.
Can you use something in place of the yogurt?
I would like to know this as well
Looks lovely- are there any nutritional stats? I mean, Greek yogurt… has to be part healty?? Lol!
I made this with heavy cream and regular sugar instead of cool whip, and light greek yogurt (80 cals per half cup) every thing else was according to the recipe. The whole pan contains 11,156 calories, so if you divide it into 20 servings it’s 557 cals per serving. Bad time to be on a diet 🤣
We don’t have cool whip here in Australia. Is there something I can use instead?
It means layers like lasagna, so get over yourself and just enjoy the recipe like the rest of us do. Don’t like it then look somewhere else !!!
Love these recipes and they look so great.
1 1/2 boxes of each jello?
How would this do in a 10inch springform pan?
Yes, I’m unclear if we use half of one box of Jello, or it we use one and a half boxes for each layer. That would be 3 boxes total, right? Thank you.
Can I use real whip cream instead of cool whip?
You can use heavy whipping cream just whip it well to stiff peaks.
If we use whipped heavy cream how will it stand up as leftovers which it is said are kept in refrigerator, not freezer? I am concerned that the whipped cream will separate and it will all turn to mush. Anyone have experience with this issue?
Hi Julie, if you whip it well to really stiff peaks, it won’t separate.
I want to try this Very Berry Dessert Lasagna. When it calls for 1 1/2 (3 oz ) box of jello, is it just one box of 3 oz jello or do I have to divide another box of the same flavor jello? This is unclear. Please let me know so I can start making it.
You will need a total 4.5 oz of Jello
I am still unclear as to just how much of each jello (strawberry and berry blue) is needed. . . the recipe indicates 1 1/2 (3oz) box of each does that mean 6 total ounces – 3 oz. per flavor? or, do you mean 1 1/2 tablespoons, or cups??? But, you indicate in a comment that a total of 4.5 oz. total jello are needed. How do you arrive at 4.5 oz? Please clarity just how much of each jello flavoring we should be using in terms of cups, or spoonfuls, or oz – thanks so much!
Unless I’m reading this wrong, it looks to me, like you need one whole 3 oz box of blue jello, plus another half of a 3 oz box of blue jello. And the same for the strawberry jello, one whole 3 oz box, and half of another 3 oz box.
Yes, it’s correct
Recipe would be clearer if it read:
1 ½ (3 oz.) boxes of strawberry flavored gelatin (like Jello).
Ditto for the other flavor gelatin layer.
I’m thinking you can use a deep dish pie tin to make this in? I make cream pies for our shop and this looks like a great dessert to make for those special holidays.
Vera, does this set up thick enough to make it in a spring-form pan?
How far in advance will this keep? Can I freeze it? I want to make in a Wednesday and serve on Saturday. Thanks!
Have to say what an amazing recipe you got here. Yesterday was my brother’s birthday and i made this desert for him, he was just starstruck seeing this. We share a good bond and i love to make him happy, all thanks to you. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Mouth watering recipe. Keen to try this recipe.
Really loved the recipe. Gonna try to make this for the dessert tonight. Hope to make it as good as yours.
Hi, i like all your recipes and this one is no different. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
the perfect dessert for occasion celebration. thanks for share with us.
This looks really good for 4th of July! The berry Lasagna. I was just wondering if I use real heavy cream and make my own, can I make it the night before? Or will the real whipped cream fall flat during the night. I always thought you had to make real whipped cream when you were going to use it. Not the night before.
Hi, make fresh whipped cream when ready to use it.
It is not just pleasing to the eyes but it also looks delicious! Hi Vera, Thank you for sharing this recipe.
This looks amazing! I made it yesterday for a party today, but the party might get canceled. Can I freeze it?
Have you tried making this ahead of time and freezing it? If not, do you think I could make it two days before the holiday?
This looks and sounds amazing! I was wondering what I could use in place of the yogurt though? I have actually had an allergic reaction in the past to yogurt which is a bummer I love yogurt
Could you make with sugar free jello and using powdered swerve instead of sugar?
You mention in notes that whipped cream can be used instead of Cool Whip but the amounts don’t add up to the amounts needed and does it change the texture?
Could this be made in springform pans?
What can I use beside yogurt? Or can i just leave it out?
Can I use sour c ream instead of yogurt?
how far ahead can you make this? does the crust get soggy if you make too far ahead?
Want to make this the night before a party, should I wait till almost time to serve to add the top layer?
You can put chocolate shavings , just add the fruit before serving.
Can this be made in a cheesecake round 9 inch pan? Will it hold its shape once sides are taken off pan?
The video shows and wordage all says to use whipping cream. But the recipe says cool whip…which is correct? Which is the recipe supposed to originally be using?
Made this and it came out very soupy. Followed directions and all. Taste great though
I made this for the 4th of July. Made it the night before so everything can set nicely. It tasted soooooo good and we will enjoy more today. My question is how long it will keep in the fridge before it needs to be discarded!?
OMG!!! Everyone loved it…. I got soooo many compliments and it was the most festive dish on the table 😄
Yes, it works just fine, I changed the blueberries to raspberries and it was delicious
Flocakes are providing the cakes for the birthday parties and anniversary parties. The individuals can plan the best birthday parties by choosing their favorite flavor of the cakes.
Thank you for sharing the amazing recipe
Looks by the color that it is a graham cracker crust – not oreo. Why isn’t it chocolate looking. I’m guessing we could also use graham cracker crust?
Blonde oreos…not chocolate
What do we look when there is such a perfect dessert for a special occasions. Thank you so much for sharing the post.
Made This For Special Event at The Home.
Thanks For Sharing Amazing Post…………
Very informative
Very informative
I cannot wait to make this, just had all the ingredients delivered to my house so I could do so. Before starting it, I’m wondering how long in advanced would it be ok to make it? How long after it’s made will it stay good? Thank you!
It will be fine for couple of days (4-5) just use firm strawberries, juicy strawberries won’t stay OK that long.
This is a perfect delight and a must-try for me. Can’t wait to try this delicious recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Great Blog Omgchocolatedesserts. Keeping Looking forward for more content like this,
Great Blog. I love the way you each things explain. Thank omgchocolatedesserts for this great blog
Can this be frozen ?
I’ve made this twice, everyone loved it!! Both times it did not fit in my 9 x 13 pan.
Anyone else have this issue?
Wow, that layers of cream looks so delectable. Your dessert recipe are superb and so are the images. Thanks for sharing.
I had a problem with this dessert. I used a 9x13x2 pan but it wasn’t deep enough. I had no room to add the blueberry layer. The strawberry layer and cheesecake layer were delicious and everyone liked it. If I make it again, I will use a deeper dish or use two smaller dishes.
Couldn’t find vanilla oreos so bought another brand of vanilla cookies sandwiched with icing. Need two packages of cookies @ $8.00 each which makes this dessert rather expensive when you add in the cost of the yogurt and the fresh berries, etc.
This was a huge hit at my family get-together!! Easy to make and absolutely delicious!
My daughters birthday is coming up soon, and I wasn’t sure what cake to make. She wants a homemade cake, and I was struggling with a cake that was going to be okay to make, and not turn out bad. I think I found the cake, plus it being a “lasagna cake” makes it so funny! I know she will love it
Thank you for this informative recipe dear , I prepare this cake on my friends party by own and everyone in the party like that alot.
It looks baking cake is so easy.
I am definately gonna try this recipe on my child birthday.
I made this for my family’s July 4th party. It was delicious and was a huge hit. It is light and refreshing, not too sweet. It’s perfect for a hot, summer day. To answer the questions about the amount of Jello, I used 1 1/2 of the 3oz. boxes each of the strawberry and blue raspberry. It turned out fine.
Found the recipe last year and I’ve made it 3/4 times since. It is a HUGE hit at the family reunion and on other holidays throughout the year! Definitely my go to recipe, only thing that is confusing is the whole jello situation; I just eyeball it, I haven’t had any negative side effects yet. It’s an easy recipe to follow and for beginners. Can’t wait to make it this weekend 10/10 recipe
Thanks so much, Tristen!
Saw this recipe a couple years ago and always wanted to make it, i put all the ingredients in my walmart cart and was blown away when i saw it cost almost $40 just to make! Think i will wait for a really special event to make, love how pretty it is! ty for sharing
Unbelievably DELICIOUS!!! EVERYONE LOVES IT! (And in a family of 9, that is quite a feat!
Thanks, Beckee!
I tried to leave five starts but it wouldn’t let me!
Look so Yummy!
Made this several times now since discovering this delicious, refreshing, and patriotic dessert back in 2021. ♥
I just want to say one thing each single post is curated with sweet recipes.
Very Interesting & mouthful recipe.
I made this to take to work for National Lasagna Day. My store did not have berry blue jello so I made 2 strawberry layers. People really enjoyed it and several asked about the crust, saying you were a genius to use Oreos.
