Third layer is instant chocolate pudding with mini marshmallows.
Top layer is whipped cream with a bunch of mini marshmallows and chocolate drizzle.
How to make Hot Chocolate Lasagna
Stir together crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter and press it in the bottom of 13 x 9 casserole dish, then place in the fridge to firm while making next layer.
To make Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse Layer, beat softened butter and cream cheese with vanilla and powdered sugar. In another bowl beat heavy whipping cream and hot chocolate powder until stiff peaks form. Fold hot chocolate whipped cream in cheesecake mixture and spread over the crust, then set in the fridge or freezer to firm.
For pudding layer in a bowl whisk instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until it starts thickening. Stir in mini marshmallows and spread over hot chocolate mousse layer. When pudding layer has set, spread whipped cream on top and place in the fridge for a few hours or better overnight.
Before serving scatter 2 cups of mini marshmallows and drizzle with melted chocolate, Nutella or chocolate topping.
Enjoy!

Notes
Hot Chocolate Lasagna is the best the next day when it firms completely overnight in the fridge. You can make it 2-3 days ahead, but then I suggest making a chocolate pudding layer without marshmallows because marshmallows mixed in pudding became soggy after a few days in the fridge.

Since the marshmallows in the chocolate pudding layer can become soggy, would marshmallow cream work as a substitute?
Hi Nancy, I think it won’t work. The filling might be too thin.
Can’t wait to make this and the orange cranberry bundt cake… thank you for sharing
What’s the brown pieces in the pudding layer ?
What is “instant milk chocolate mix”?
Hi Peter, thanks for noticed that. It’s hot cocoa mix with milk chocolate flavor.
I saw this recipe on FB, Vera and it stopped me dead in my tracks! So decadent and gorgeous. I immediately shared on FB and pinned to my Pinterest boards. I can’t wait to make this for my own family. LOVE.
Thanks Sara, it’s such a honor when get a compliment from someone like you :-)! I hope your family will like it.
Happy holidays!!!
I am unable to find instant chocolate pudding mix is there anything I could use instead?
Could I use cool whip instead of making my own whipped cream? Sorry totally new to this.

I found it much better to my liking with crushed pecan crust.
I want the recipes please
Yummy
I can’t wait to make this. Just took a pic of the ingredient list for my grocery shopping tomorrow so I can buy everything I need to make it. My husband said the marshmallows are fine because it won’t last more than 2 or 3 days.
I made this and it was absolutely delicious but it was super runny for me. Even after letting it chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Any tips?

If I made this on a Sunday afternoon, would it be good on Tuesday night?
Hi Heater, it will be fine.
instead of marshmallows in the pudding, what about mini chocolate chips to give it some crunch since the marshmallows get soggy after two days (if making ahead)?
And I think I am going to breakout the blow torch and toast those top marshmallows with it and drizzle them!
Hi I was wondering what I can do to make it not stick on the bottom of the pan, I made it last year and no one could eat it because it was stuck. We tried cutting it and the cookie layer was not coming up.
I am going to try some of your recipes. I love chocolate so that is the first one.
I made this for Thanksgiving, and it got rave reviews! I’m making it for Christmas right now. I use Godiva chocolate pudding. This is a chocolate lovers dream! Thanks for posting this recipe!
Thanks so much Melissa! Merry Christmas!
Haven’t tried it yet but did just done making it.. Cant wait to try it later after dinner. Wish i could leave a picture of what mines looked like. Im so satisfied, it looks so pretty.. 😆
I have made a couple of your lasagna dessert, the Christmas and hot chocolate ones. Amazing!!! The recipes are simple to follow. Thank you for providing great recipes and I am anxious to try more of your recipes
Making this for our family Christmas gathering. Making two, one dairy free for 3 of us intolerant folks and one for everyone else.
None of this creators “lasagnas” even qualify enough to fit in the same category of lasagna. They’re all creme pies. There’s nothing dividing the layers, and the layers don’t repeat. Stop calling every single thing that you put in a casserole dish lasagna. You’re not being “creative,” you’re being annoying.
If you don’t like them don’t make them! Why be so nasty and hateful!
just call it mousse or no bake cheesecake.
Looks delicious. Would you give out the nutritional content?
Just made this because it looks delicious, my husband & I were curious if you new the nutrition facts on this recipe?
This is a keeper. I did not add the marshmallows since I made it two days ahead of serving. I like dark chocolate so I used dark chocolate cocoa mix and the chocolate fudge pudding. It was a big hit at the office.
Fabulous idea!!! ?
Should you take out of freezer ahead of time before serving? If so, how long? Thanks
Do I need to remove the cream filling from the Oreos before I crush them or do I just pop them in the food processor while? Thanks!
Crush them with the filling.
I would like to know if there is a cup amount when the oreos are crushed?
I do not like cheesecake at all. Cream cheese is gross. Is there anything I can use in place of cheesecake?
I am a little confused about the amount of pudding mix to use. Is the 3.8oz the total amount or is that 2 boxes at 3.8 ox each?
Thanks!
It is 2 x 3.8 oz.
This looks amazing! However, I’m not a fan of cream cheese – is there something else that can be used instead? Thanks! 🙂
This so freaking good!!! I make it for every ocasión that requires someone to make a dish. It is always a HIT! The only changes I make is to remove the marshmallow completely, and add chocolate shavings to the top before serving. That’s just my preference though.
OH MY!!! This looks gorgues!!! but where do i order it???? and can u make it without lactose???
XOXOXOXOXO ~Joanne
This recipe is fantastic! My suggestion is to toast the marshmallows on top before serving!
how do i cut this reciept in half thanks
Make this just as directed, and you won’t be sorry! Gets rave reviews.
How long does this last in the fridge?
It’s Ok for 4-5 days for sure. I kept leftovers in airtight containers up to a week or so.
The chocolate pudding layer is super runny even after 2 hours in the fridge. Any suggestions? Should I have could the pudding first instead of just whisking it?
Made this for dessert the Christmas this year and it was a hit. I halved it because I wasn’t sure how good it would come out but I could have made the full recipe given how much everyone loved it, it didn’t last the night. I omitted the marshmallows since I don’t like them and I thought it was perfect without them.
Oh em gee!! This is amazing! I used this as my base recipe, but I did have to change it to make it fully gluten and dairy-free, and it came out incredible. My husband is the one with allergies; while our daughter has no allergies, it was her favorite dessert. I used gluten-free Oreos (glutinos) using vegan butter, made homemade chocolate pudding with almond milk, made my cream cheese layer with cashew cream and powdered cocoa, and made the whipped cream layer with coconut cream. Then I sprinkled marshmallows on top and drizzled chocolate ganache over top. When I make it again, I will probably use vegan cream cheese for simplification. Thanks for the inspiration!!
