No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios Cups
Need a quick and healthy dessert or snack? Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios Cups are easy and healthy snack for kids and adults and perfect breakfast to grab and go on busy mornings.
These Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios Cups are completely no bake and could be made in 15 minutes or less. Actually, you don’t even have to wait for a few hours until they firm in the fridge. You can simply place them in the freezer for 15 minutes and in 30 minutes of total time your dessert or snack is ready to be served.
For these Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios Cups you’ll need only 5 ingredients: chocolate, peanut butter, coconut oil, cereals and organic brown rice syrup or honey.
However, you can use ingredients you have on hands. You can use dark or semi-sweet chocolate. Dark chocolate is loaded with nutrients that can improve your health and lower the risk of heart disease. It’s one of the best sources of antioxidants and can positively affect your health.
Coconut oil compared to many other fats could be good for heart health, too. But, if you don’t have it on hand, you can substitute it with butter.
Organic brown rice syrup or honey are the best sweeteners that can replaced high fructose corn syrup. You can use your favorite sticky sweetener in this recipe.
And the last, but not the least ingredient are cereals. I used Cheerios made from whole grain oats, and without artificial flavors or colors. Cheerios adds perfect crunch without getting soggy. If you have another cereal that can do that, go ahead and use it for this recipe.

Oh, my… This is even better than granola cups! Sounds and looks super delicious. 🙂 I like these quick and easy recipes because I don’t like to spend so much time in the kitchen. This is why I try to make every meal as quick as possible. 🙂
I substituted the coconut oil with butter. It didn’t melt well with the chocolate. Did great for the peanut butter tho. Hoping it tastes as good as it should.
Where is the recipe?
These went together really easily. Most of the ingredients were already in my kitchen. I used Adams natural chunky peanut butter. It didn’t melt as smooth as yours appeared to. Still, the taste is perfect, husband loved them. This recipe is a keeper for sure!
Thanks!
Thanks Sarah!

Hi what could i substitute brown rice syrup for ? Thank You .
Yo can use honey.
These were delish! How did you get the bottom looking so nice and firm? Mine came out not looking so solidify? Could it be since I used muffin tinsel? Otherwise it was delicious!! Thank u!
Can you use Sunbutter (sunflower butter) instead of peanut butter?
I planned on trying it with sunbutter since my little cannot have peanut butter and he loves sunbutter.
Would these be ok made in cupcake wrappers for give away treat? Would they come out of the wrapper well? Or do you have to use a silicone muffin pan?
Has anyone tried with cupcake liners? No silicone pan here
I made it with cupcake liners and sprayed them with cooking spray first. It turned out great and even left the little Reese’s peanut butter cups ridges!
Absolutely delicious for a “healthy” snack! I substituted 3 tablespoons of pure honey for the brown rice syrup and used organic peanut butter with two tablespoons of coconut oil in the peanut butter part instead of three!
I love this. I used honey instead of rice syrup. Didn’t have silicone muffin pan so I used cupcake liners! Yummy
Do they have to be refrigerated?
Hi Katie, keep them in the fridge.
I was curious if anyone knew a good substitute for the coconut oil ( unfortunately I’m allergic to everything coconut ?) I’m afraid to use like olive oil because typically when you add oil the chocolate doesn’t stay hardened is it ok to just not add the oil at all?
This is a wonderful recipe. Thank you.
I did add more cheerios to both the chocolate & peanut butter mixtures. Absolutely delicious!👍☮️
What are the calories, they look so good
Does anyone know the nutritional value?
The recipe mentioned using butter instead.
