Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any additional questions, please send us an email at: twopeasandtheirpod@gmail.com.
What is your favorite thing to make?
COOKIES! I love creating new cookie recipes. Baking is a great stress reliever for me and cookies are just fun and comforting. Who doesn’t love a warm, fresh cookie right out of the oven?
Do you take all your own photos?
Yes. All of the photos on this blog are taken by us, unless otherwise stated. I have learned a lot about food photography since I started our food blog. The photos in my early posts may be a bit frightening, but I like leaving them up because this blog is a journey. All photos are protected by the Creative Commons License.
What camera and/or lenses do you use?
We have a Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera. I usually shoot with a 5o mm 1.8 lens.
Would you like to review a product or host a giveaway on your blog?
If you have a product that is relevant to my readers or you think we would enjoy, please email us at twopeasandtheirpod@gmail.com.
Can I use one of your photos on my website?
I spend a lot of time taking photos. Possibly even more time than I do baking. Really. It’s a problem for me. A photo with credit and link to my site is usually acceptable if you’re talking about bakerella.com. However, do not use any bakerella.com photos to promote your own business or bakery. (Yes, people really do that… it’s pretty shameful).
Can I post your pictures and recipes on my site?
I started this blog to share my inspiration and designs. I work very hard on my creations and spend many hours writing, baking, and photographing them. Please remember that when you choose to share something on your website. You are welcome to be inspired by or add you own twist on them! However, I just ask that you provide the proper linkage credit. If you are blogging about it, tweeting about it (@iambakertweets), using facebook, pinterest, or any other social media outlet that you use, please provide proper linkage.
When in doubt, add a link back. Please do not copy/transfer/blog/facebook/tweet my images unless you have permission to do so. And if you really want to, just ask! I am nice most of the time.
How do you build traffic on your blog?
Well, that’s the golden question, isn’t it? I believe blogging is a community. That you are, in fact, building relationships, not just contacts. If you want people to comment on you blog, comment on theirs! When it comes to having lots of readers, the more you enjoy what you are doing, the easier that will be.
Can you do a review or can I send you some product?
I can do reviews, but I most likely won’t. If you still want to send something, I cannot promise I will blog about it or that if I do blog about it, it will be a favorable review. My blog community is built on honesty and I usually try to only showcase products I really use and like! You are better off contacting bloggers who specialize in that and can provide you with a more professional and expedient response. (please email me if you need names)
Can I advertise on your site?
If your product is consistent with my blog then yes you can. Please contact me for pricing and details. If you are reaching out from the Sundial Resort on Sanilbel Island, the answer is yes.
Do you accept guest posts on your site?
