Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie is the best breakfast for busy mornings. Just throw 4 simple ingredients in a blender and ending up with a delicious and healthy meal.
OK, maybe my version of this Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie is not really “skinny” as is expected from smoothies, but it is certainly delicious. It is full of fruit and of course, there is no additional sugar because the strawberries themselves are sweet enough.
But, why keep counting the calories and bother yourself with things like that when the day will be much better and nicer in every way if you start it with this tasty and simple breakfast. Admit it, Strawberry Shortcake in the form of a Smoothie, sounds really great. You can have a real treat for breakfast, and not feel guilty.
Aren’t Smoothies the best? When you are late for something and in a hurry, or getting ready for work, or getting the kids ready for school and simply have no time for a proper breakfast, you can blend any fruit, vegetable, yogurt, milk… pour it in a cup and you are ready to go. You can drink your nutritious breakfast on the way to your job or school.
Although, I have to admit, I just love Smoothies, not just because I often don’t have time for breakfast, but because I am one of those people who really don’t have a big appetite in the morning. I often skip breakfast although I know that it’s not healthy at all. But, when there is a piece of chocolate cake or a cupcake in the fridge, I will gladly gulp it in the morning.
Just because of that, this Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie is my new favorite. It is prepared easily and quickly and it’s season of fresh strawberries. I think you will like them too, especially if Strawberry Shortcake is one of your favorite childhood treats, as it probably is . Who could resist such a scrumtious cake with sooooo much whip cream? Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie is certainly much more healthy than the cake itself because it has many juicy strawberries and milk and no additional sugar, but it is just as much delicious.
